Believe?!

There are the free thinkers and then there are those with a religion.... My family believes in Buddhism. However, I am not sure whether to classify myself as a free thinker or Buddhist since I believe in some of the more basic theories most religions have, like the Karma system, where you do good and get good Karma kinda thing...

However, in face of the reborn system, like afterlife and then you get reborn.... I don't exactly believe in the kinda thing as well, like heaven and hell... Personally, I have experienced many of the Deja Vu thing, so I believe in what I experience (well, I don't experience everything, so theory plays a part in covering the gaps)... I think that (well, I guess you could say that I believe in that reborn thing) your "soul" (if there is such a thing...) gets "reused" in the same time. You know the space time theory where there is history, present and future and then the parallel worlds... Yeah.... I think that your "soul" is placed back into the same time given another of the countless returns. Hence your soul shall go through another cycle of jumping through parallel worlds to chose the best choice. However, your soul does not remember all the right choices. That's why there may be the repetitive going through of cycles. Something like memorising a passage of life. Where at some parts seem so familiar that the time line of parallel worlds lapse. That's where you get your Deja Vu thing, where you remember you have gone through the same thing. Until your soul can memorise the entire passage of life and choose when to alternate around the parallel worlds, I have no idea what happens after that. Maybe you cease to exist... maybe you continue to exist on the path called fate. I don't know.

So, who cares about such things... It is afterall, just another random theory based on what I feel. Does not matter if others believe otherwise. Theory is afterall, hard to proof but easy to eliminate. Science if afterall a product of elimination, where you are served packages of theories and find the most probable one through elimination. However, if there are exceptions, these makes things a whole load complicated and more theories try to push over the existing ones...

So, let us just live life the way it is... Share the theories, accept ideas from other theories and make one you believe. Does not matter, when you're dead, you're dead. For all I know, maybe life is only one long path which ends with nothing.

Yeah! Another boring blog!

I will be going to Kuala Lumpur this Thursday evening by train. Celebrating my maternal side grandmother's Birthday. Birthday dinner on Sunday night. Not sure when exactly is her birthday though... All I know is that it would be on the weekdays.

Anyway... Back to topic! The complaining part! Yeah! What the heck...

So... What am I going to complain about now. Actually, I have nothing to complain about today.

However, I got a new table! IKEA sent the parts. Fixed it up within two hours. Table with a board for pin-ups and a separate drawer thingy... So, it is larger than my current work table bt it is for my computer and all. So my one desk and the other computer table will be replaced by this big table. But the total are would be a little less than the two tables add together, but it will fit, I think.

O levels next year but I am not studying, so... Yeah. What the heck. BB guys! (Or whoever reads my blogs...)

Boredom

The web, a place of wide range connection that can fulfill many wishes. Then WHY does it keep me so BORED!!!

I am not sure if I am the only one but I get bored of playing computer games, surfing the net, et cetera.

Yeah, I know I have not been blogging latel due to my examinations but it actually ended a week ago. Got back my results. I will post them on my other bolg; the school one of course. Link in the side bar <<

So, what do I do when I am BORED? Good question. I am not sure myself. Since I have so much free time, I am just going to rant about the crap of my life and stuff that I feel about other stuff. It is midnight already though. Probably past it by the end of the blog...

I have not got much to complain about actually, but I will share one of my dislikes: DIETS!!! Why the hell are people going on diet! Live your life to the max! Eat whatever you want, but eat your greens too or the shitting would hurt like hell...

There are loads of people out there who are anorexic, and then there are those who are obese. Well, the smaller problem first. Anorexic people NEED to enjoy life more. Why on Earth are you people eating so little?! Scared of the BIG problem. Excercise does the job. Yeah yeah, there are those who say eating is a waste of time. Well, based on evolution, things are changed to adept to the suroundings. Well, why do you have taste buds? Well, so you CAN TASTE the DELICIOUS food you people can eat! The other fact is just to taste thing that gone bad, but what the heck. Eat more! Scared of health problems? Well, you're HAVING one! Life is going to end anyway. So learn to enjoy! The world is ending in 2012 after all, that is if you belive the Mayans.

Then now, the BIG problem. Obesity. Yeah, enjoying food is great. But, WHAT ARE YOU DOING! You people are just wasting supplies for those who need it. The poor, the anorexic, et cetera. You people are not ENJOYING food, you people are filling extra RESERVES! Look at those bags around you. Man! You people do not need that! Throw it away! Those are CRAP! You make the world look like shit!

Then another problem... The end of the world in 2012. Wow, how fanciful. Then why are those scientists and researcher still working! The world is going to END! Why do you need the money for. Go buy a mansion and eat luxuriously till the end of the world! Hell man. The Mayans predicted loads of things right. It is the future man! Then they decided to stop writing and people INFER that it means the end of the world. For all I know, this post is just another piece of waste floating about the "abysmal" internet. Then, maybe, just maybe, when the world ACTUALLY ends in 2012, I am screaming my lungs out running down the street trying to save myself. I bet the Mayan just got bored of writing the story but forgotten to put a FULL STOP at the end of the sentence. Abrubt ending to such a factual recount an English teacher would probably say. What that is it? You ain't writing anymore?! Well, of course! Do you know how friggin boring it would be to write and essay of "What happens in the future". It is even CARVED into a wall! How tiring would that be?! Now, athors just gotta type it out. Well, try CARVING it into STONE! The Mayans got bored about telling their kids what to do till 2011 and let them have independence in 2012. That is all!

Last problem, those who CLAIM that they are fearless of death. "HAHA! You thinks you can kill me?! Bring it!" Next moment, the guy is rolling on the floor begging for mercy. You don't fear death?! Well, why don't you just die now?!

Well, actually there are loads more problem. But, I'll end here for today and give it a break from my ranting. Till next time!

Recycle more!

My mother asked my sister to clean up her table. All the trash went into the bin. However, was it really trash? Well, I managed to ransack more then half of the paper that were recycable. And out of the ones I ransacked, there were Secondary 1 mock examination papers, not even touched at all. And out of that pile I ransacked, about 20% of it were reusable. And this was not all the paper they threw away! There's still loads more waiting to be saved. There's already one mammoth pile of recycable paper under my table. Will out them up for recycling tomorrow...

So save the friggin Earth already. Mother Nature gave us life and the Earth let us live on it without expecting anything in return. Yet, we ungrateful beings continuously pollute and destroy the enviroment. Talk about being civilised.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. In fact, there is actually no such thing as trash. Everything can be, and should be, recycled somehow or the other. I collected so much useful material from just what my sister threw away in one go! Just imagine the amount of gold we threw into the drains and buried under the ground, not bothering to give them a second chance. Imagine the amount of people throwing this gold to nowhere at one time! And they did this act countlessly! We need to save the world. If not for us, at least for our descendants.

Why are we biting the hand that feeds us?! Shouldn't we be more grateful? Do you think we actually have the right to call outselves a living thing beyond that of what shold be classified as mammals? Are we as civilised as we claim to be?

National Day!

Yeah, I know it is a bit late and stuff. National day on the 9th of August. That was a Monday. Sunday, we had a National Day Carnival held at the HDB blocks behind my school. Kinda last minute notice, but we got everything together still. Check my CCA blog for more info on this.

There was the National Day Parade at the Padang, but I didn't watch it... neither live nor on television. They said it was much grander than the last one though... Not much here, so yeah, that is it for now. Sorry for the really late update...

1st August! Guess what day it is!

It is my mother's birthday. Also two of my friends' birthdays. Darren and Royson. Happy birthday you people!

So yesterday, we wet to the international buffet at United Square. I love the food there. Good variety and delicious food. Ranges from starters to main course to dessert. It has everything to cover you for a more than luxurious meal. All for a really reasonable price too!

Okay, now that makes me look like I'm being sponsored by them and promoting them or something. Hehe... Nah, my blogs are all non-profitable.

What the world could do without

Religion would be one of them. This may spark of loads of comments and angry people as well. However, I'm talking of religion as a whole rather than just 1. Well, actually I am doing this because of an argument sparked off between my parents when my mother was talking something about community work at some place Christian. My family is Buddhist. I personally prefer being a free thinker. I do not believe i such things. Just the basis of all religion. There is heaven, there is hell. And of course there is the what goes around comes around idea. The Buddhist call it karma.

Okay, first why on earth do I not believe in religion? Most people do, I do not really like it though. Religion gives loads of boundries. For example, Malays eat Halal food only. That would be the most common religion based habit to me. I am not trying to pick a bone with you guys or anything. I feel that religion is just a source of hope. My hope would be God. Not God as in Jesus or Buddha or any other Gods you got, but God as just God. An abstract idea. Well, that is religion I guess, having hope in an abstract idea.

I also believe in the "karma" thing. Well, more specifically, I believe that you do unto others what you wish others do unto you. That would be one of the most common ideas of religion as well isn't it? I believe religion is just a few common ideas given a name, a specific number of Gods, and decorated with a whole load of other ideas and beliefs to make it stand apart from other religions.

I mean, just look at religion in specific. Wars and riots have begun because people use religion as an excuse. The most immediate idea I got when this is typed, would be the Crusaders. Yes, maybe some of you say,"That's ancient! We're more civilised now." Yeah, so you may say. However, is it true? Not too long ago, there were riots between the Uighers and I cannot remember the other party... But you get the jist of it.

Moving on, humans are weird. We kill our own kind. Some eat our own kind. We have ideas. We pride ourselves to being the smartest of all animals. However, is that really the case? We are the most violent. Killing our own species. Just think about it, even the fearsome King of the animal kingdom, the lion, does not eat its own kind. Okay, although we may not be the only creature killing each other, like the long leg daddy spider (females eating males) or the sharks (FRENZY!), but we pride ourselves in being the smartest. Hell, all we know is talk. Just because we go fingers, we play with things other animals cannot. If we place an unarmed man with a lion, we may as well bet on the lion. We are weak, just because we can do things others cannot, we think we are great. Many are actually really dumb. Most of us have what we call the EQ and the IQ balanced out. Either you are intelligent or you are sociable.

Well, this angry post started because of an argument at dinner between my parents. Well, actually I am not sure whether I should even call it an argument. However, there was definately an argument between my sister and my father in the car due to the volume of the radio. I would not bore you with the details but they have been like that over the radio loads of times. See, how intelligent humans can get. I too am human, and thus, most of these things imply to me as well. This post may be stupid but who knows. I am just a little idiot trying to change the world's opinion with this stupid post.

I apolagise for making many of you read this angry post making some of you angry, sad, and other feelings. However, there may be those who were happy because they know there is someone on the other side of the screen feeling the same. However, keep in mind, I too am human.

Oh, my life....

It's truly is getting topsy turvy. They say Secondary 3 is the best time of your life in my school. You are trusted by your juniors, you are probably leaders in you CCA, and you do not have the stress from O-level yet. I'm really doubting this...

Yes, I am a leader and I am trusted. I do not have the imense stress yet. But life is still hell. Just look at my school blog and know the entire crap. Feel so angry still. I feel like I am spreading propaganda against my school... LOL

First week after mid-year holidays. Things are just getting more and more messed up in school... My life, itself, I guess, is still pretty good. But I feel less motivated about school everytime I gotta face up to the crap there. All the blah blah blah system...

Oh yeah, almost forgot to tell you guys. I went to Universal Studios on Sunday. Paid S$70++. Guess what I got... A total rip-off! The rides were crap. Most were closed for maintainance. And these people have the nerves to keep such things hidden till you pay and get in. In addition, as school was starting, all tickets were sold out except Sunday's, and it is like S$20 more expensive. The good in there are like daylight robbery. If you're gonna buy things, do not ever do it there. Not a good place to go. A plain hotdog, no toppings whatsoever costs S$5.90! Bottled drinks costs S$3! I could buy 1litre bottle of coke for S$1.80! With promotion 2 for S$1.80! Mega pissed off with Universal Studios. The only ride that I could take the that was nice, was the one at the Mummy section. As in mummy the zombie thingy with loads of wrappings. The rest could hardly be called entertainment. Time waster is a more suitable title.
Things that were good and was OPEN on that day:
- the mummy ride
- the 4d shrek movie
- the special effects theatre.
S$70+ for 3 good things!? Not worth it. Just go to an amusement park...

Pasir Ris Park Cycling!

Went to Pasir Ris Park yesterday to cycle with my family. Cycled for two hours. Took a few scenery photos on my handphone while cycling. I'm better at cycling with my left hand even though I'm a righty. Not sure why...





Well, as most of you should know, it's the school holidays now. Teacher's gave loads of homework this can't be called a holiday. I'm supposed to have History remedials and then a retest, but the teacher did not even give me a date.... Damn. My History teacher also seems that she has lost my History script or something.

Went to KL on 29th of May. Celebrate my maternal side grandfather's birthday. He has reached 80 and still healthy! Took some pics as well...






So, that's that. Happy Holidays to ya guys. My happy week is over. Gotta get back to studies and holiday homework...

Chingay left me pretty zonked out. 19.2.2010, I did the tail for the lion. 20.2.2010, I did the head. My tail (previously head) ran away. Blasted !^@%ed up Sec one bastard. Had to get a replacement to be my tail. At least I know this new guy (Sec 3 too, same CCA, OK friend). Damn the sec 1 wuss.

I know I should be placing this at the school blog like the rest of the Chingay lion dance related posts, but I decided to place this one here. I'll put a more detailed one later.

CNY mood still going on. Tuition teacher bought us some sweets to eat. Sadly, I had to go to the dentist to tighten my braces. My teeth became too pain and hence, I was unable to eat any....

Tuesdays...

I don't exactly like Tuesdays. Not because I hate Tuesday, but rather, my timetable for Tuesdays are rather hectic. Tuition right after school. Gotta rush there. I hate being rushed.

I like Wednesdays though. Of course because of the timetable. PE + PT day! PE first lesson and PT during CCA. But tomorrow, I have to leave class early. Just refer to the post on myschoollife.blogspot.com.

You know the game I was talking about. Yeah. Wolfteam. I just started loving to use the knife to kill. Short range but fun if you know how to use it. Went on a micro killing spree just now. ROFLOL

Whoo! free movies!

My friend gave me a site to watch movies, other than youtube. Currently watching Avatar. Watch a few movies on the site already. Quality is not that good though...

My uncle came yesterday. Helped to wipe out the virus on my computer. Ate lasagne yesterday. My favourite!

Will be going to a steamboat buffet today for dinner. Uncle is bringing us out.

So, how did it go?

Went pretty smoothly for today. I was able to make it for both training and tuition. 10min late though.

Hell! They said we would be released at 5pm. In the end I had to leave early 10min after 5pm because they were dragging it. Morons... hate time wasters.

Did quite a sum of running. When I left school, I nearly missed the bus, but caught it in the end. Then I had to run to tuition. I really mean RUN. After I alighted from the bus, I ran all the way to the centre. From Newton Circus to United Square. Hey no joke man. Ran all the way. Of course, I had to stop for traffic to pass when crossing the road. This is where regular jogging takes over. Lucky!

Tomorrow still have Chinese test though, gotta go, BB.

PS: I got myself a new set of earphones at united square. I'm wearing them now although I'm not listening to anything...

To all those gamers out there... I'm really bored.... Been playing any game that can hold my attention for any period of time....

Any COMPUTER multiplayer games I can play that's interesting? I've been revolving around Wolfteam (aeria games... Not softnyx) and Kingory (got bored of evony)...

Jogging

Today, I went jogging at HC. Ran for 5.1Km. 12.75 rounds on the 400m track.

I haven't jogged for quite a while. My timing for 5Km deproved. Well, usually I only do 5Km, but after 5Km, I noticed my timing went higher... So sad...

I'm not in track and field. Jogging was not in my sports list till late 1st term of sec1. By then, I've chosen NCC as my CCA. Anyway, my timing is nothing compared to the track and field.

One more not that interesting fact.... although I am still quite proud of it. I used to be overweight at pri6. Well, before that, I was still pretty OK. But then I gained quite a sum. But After being in sec sch for just a while, my weight dropped by 10Kg. Now, I have a slight shape of 6-packs, pretty decent stamina, a so-so speed, and quite muscular arms....

Well, this all depends on standards. Of course, compared to a body builder, I would be less than puny....

So that's it for now... Still pretty early though...

Yeah... one more thing...

I met a primary school friend at tuition. I always love it when it happens.

Never saw her since primary 2, till 11/1/10.

Monday math tuition. Sadly, I may/may not be missing it... Really want to go... I think she'll be permanant since she's new.... Hope so :)

Nothing interesting...

Life is still pretty normal. Had tuition at 4pm.

Yeah, and today, my mom came back from K.L.. She went there on yesterday morning for work. 2 days. Had dinner at a Japanese restaurant.

Tomorrow Sunday. Nothing much to do. In fact, nothing to do. Probably stay at home and stone.

And oh yes, I also have a blog for my school. Pls visit it. Pretty plain like this blog. Started it on the same day.

My life's pretty boring...

Other than going to school and having CCA and tuition, my life hardly consists of any fun. Other than during the holidays, my life revolves around study. In fact, during the holidays, I still continue having tuition.

During my spare time, when I am unable to use the computer or watch TV (which I hardly get to do), I lift weights, do push ups and sit ups. Still not very strong though...

I really appreciate what I have in life. But I really wish I can have MORE fun. Of course, I still have to study.

Gettin pretty late now, gotta go. Gd night...

School

I'm sec 3 this year. Studying 8 subjects. 2 of each. 2 language (English and Mother Tongue), 2 Math (Elementary and Additional), 2 humanities (Core History and Elective Geography + Social Studies), and 2 sciences (Pure Physics and pure Chemistry).

I study in class 3/4 in my school... supposedly the 2nd best class. I have 1 CCA (Co-curriculum activities), NCC (National Cadet Corps).
